Lauren Locklear is an assistant professor of management at Texas Tech University in the Rawls College of Business where she teaches organizational behavior and research methods. She received her PhD in management from the University of Central Florida in 2021 and her BS in psychology from the University of Georgia in 2015.
Her research focuses on interpersonal relationships, emotions, workplace mistreatment and workplace norms. Specifically, Lauren researches the role of gratitude and appreciation in interpersonal relationships at work and has published her work in outlets such as Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Harvard Business Review and MIT Sloane Management Review. Her research has been featured in media outlets such as Psychology Today, Forbes, CNBC, Inc. Magazine, Yahoo News and U.S. News & World Report.
